The Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle program from author Tom Venuto has been (and still is) one of the best and most successful fat loss programs for quite a long time.

The main program consists of a 341 page guide and is well written and really easy to understand. Nevertheless, I have to mention one “flaw” (if you can call it like that) right in the beginning: unfortunately, the guide is not broken up into individual modules. But that is just my personal point of view.

The first 270 pages of the Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle guide explains nearly everything on fat los and nutrition. It helps you to figure out your body type, your metabolic rate (which is different from one person to another) and gives good advice on how to measure your progress.

A point that I like very much in this program is the fact that Tom Venuto also covers goal setting and how to work on fat loss with the right mindset. Without it you will certainly get overwhelmed with how to get through the product itself (remember, it’s 341 pages!).

And this may be another point to mention: its length. Well don’t get me wrong here. It really is fantastic information if you want to establish your very own diet/fat loss and exercise program, based on qualified information about how your body works and what to do if you want to change your actual nutrition plan. Every piece of information is summarized in a concise way and is easy to understand, but the whole program just might be too much information for somebody who just wants to lose some weight. This program is really not for everyone.

What else is covered in the book? Cardio is another important subject. The best exercises to do, what machines to use, how choose the right exercises, how to avoid injuries, how to boost your metabolism effectively and so on. And the list is not finished here…

Weight training is also covered. For example, you get a list of sample workouts and an impressive “Frequently Asked Questions” guide that explains most of the questions you can have about lifting weights.
